Watch Phenomenology directly on YouTube (Spanish)An introduction to the topic
The same room can feel different when we are waiting for someone, looking for an object or remembering an absence. Phenomenology invites us to describe how things appear in our experience: what we attend to, our bodily perspective and the meaning our experiences take on. This attention to first-person experience opens up a form of philosophical inquiry. The further reading sets out its questions and historical development, preserving distinctions between thinkers that are important to retain.
